The Last Call draws inspiration from Édouard Manet’s iconic painting A Bar at the Folies-Bergère. The exhibition invites artists to explore the intersection of the ordinary and the extraordinary, revealing the collision of vibrant realities and quiet mysteries. Like the barmaid in Manet’s painting, whose enigmatic stillness suggests deep introspection amid the bustle of entertainment and consumption, the exhibition reflects on the dualities of modern life: fleeting connections, hidden tensions, and the inner worlds concealed beneath dazzling surfaces.

“The Last Call” resonates with layered meanings; it may evoke the last drink before the day ends, a decisive turning point, or a threshold before transformation. Through the artworks, the exhibition reveals the multi-dimensional nature of contemporary existence: details that carry untold stories, the extraordinary significance within the ordinary, and moments of stillness found amidst noise. Visitors are invited to re-examine the overlooked depth and complexity of everyday life.
