Learn to Fly unfolds within a fictional period setting, inviting visitors into a short-lived yet imaginative journey. Juxtaposing paintings, installations, and video works, the exhibition creates a plateau between philosophies, where nomadic paths weave migration, forgetting, and flowing further afield.
Drawing on Deleuze’s philosophical ideas, the exhibition reimagines the urban environment as a utopian garden, a space of possibility and transformation. Through the threads of nature and nomadism, it reflects on the body’s shifting relationship with the outside world, raising questions around alienation, potential evolution, and the broader structures of contemporary society.
Rather than reproducing reality, Learn to Fly offers a reverse narrative: leaving space for visitors to set up their own identities and enter into fictional roles. In this process, nomadism becomes a metaphor for contemporary life, reminding us of the need to remain open within constant flux, and to consider how individual struggles, resistances, and transformations shape fluid and diverse forms of existence.
